About The Wellbeing Website

I had to do something. People are struggling and help isn’t always available. It can often be expensive as well, and out of reach to those who really need it.

My solution

I created something that will encourage people to help themselves. Something where the key teachings are free to access. Something that can immediately be put to use. A wellbeing website.

I’ll share the things you can do to improve your mental health and wellbeing

Most people aren’t aware of the simple things they can do to feel better. That’s why this site exists. It’s here to help you build your own wellbeing toolkit. Practices, activities and ideas that matter.

Help is here. This is what you’ll find on The Wellbeing Website:

Your wellbeing toolkit

Guides you can keep coming back to. With a mix of video and text, they introduce the things that matter and give you everything you need to get started. They’re released in series, so please keep checking.

My Alignment system

Videos that help you put everything together. You can do this in a way that suits you. There’s a whole page to get you started and an Alignment section in each guide. You’ll want to try this.

Helpful resources

Some suggestions if you want to take things further. Books, apps and podcasts that should make a difference. There’s a resources section in each guide and there are pages that group them together.

A unique blog

Posts and videos that should really inspire you. My aim is to make you think, introduce incredible ideas and hopefully lead you somewhere. Just dip in and find something that suits you.

Ways to connect

My work goes beyond this website. You’ll find new things on my social media channels. I’ve also created a helpful, monthly email newsletter to keep you connected.

My story

I’m Martin Robinson. This is the bit where I share my story and let you know how I can help you. You obviously don’t just sit down and create a wellbeing website like this without something happening to you. Without unique motivation.

The short version of my story is that my life changed when I was struck down with a serious neurological condition in October 2011. It left me disabled and for a time, I was unable to walk and experienced incredible pain. This created obvious physical and mental challenges.

I had to find things that would help me get through it, and I’ve never stopped.

I’m pleased to say that I’ve significantly recovered now, although it was a long journey and I still face challenges. The most significant thing for me is that my focus turned to helping others.

It moved me to more meaningful work. I’ve taught wellbeing to those who really needed help. I’ve seen the problems people face up close and I’m used to coming up with solutions.

I’ve helped myself and I’ve helped other people. Now I’d like to help you.
